1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using Carely, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy and the agreement applicable to your role. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
2. Marketplace role
Carely provides technology that helps families find and communicate with independent providers. Carely is not a home-care employer, staffing agency, emergency service or medical provider, and does not itself provide care, diagnosis or treatment.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized access. Carely may suspend or close accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully or in a way that threatens users or the platform.
4. Verification
Provider verification is a manual review of submitted information and documents at a point in time. A verified badge is not a guarantee of identity, qualifications, conduct, availability or suitability. Families remain responsible for evaluating whether a provider meets their needs.
5. Client access and payment
Client booking and online payment are not currently available. Carely may collect early-access enquiries, but an enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Booking, contact-release and payment terms will be presented before client services open.
6. Fees and cancellation
Carely retains a 20% commission from provider booking earnings. Cancellation and refund outcomes are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy and any mandatory rights under applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
Users must not submit false documents, impersonate another person, harass others, misuse private information, evade platform fees, interfere with security, scrape the service or use Carely for unlawful activity.
8. Emergencies and medical disclaimer
Carely does not provide emergency services, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Call 911 immediately in an emergency. Users must seek qualified medical advice where appropriate.
9. Disputes and platform action
Carely may review complaints, messages and booking records; request information; restrict contact; suspend accounts; remove content; or cancel requests where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance or platform integrity.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Carely does not guarantee continuous availability or the acts, omissions or outcomes of independent users. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable Canadian law. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
